Thomas Lehner,
Born 1963 in Linz, Austria.

Thomas Lehner participated in several movie, video and television productions, in the Austrian media industry.
His artistic works encompasses the fields of visual art, performance, music and experimental movies and videos, art in public space, interactive media art, VR and Telerobotics. He has held an executive position at Stadtwerkstatt, a cultural cooperative in Linz, Austria, for several years. He was artistic director of mixed media & mixed reality projects and experimental broadcasting projects in cooperation with Austrian state TV, ORF, and 3sat.
He developed  a Telepresence and VR method called "P.R.D." [Parallel room display].
Projects, lectures and workshops on festivals, conferences and universities in the USA, Europe, Russia and China
For his media artworks he received the Upper Austrian Award for Media Art and the first Austrian State Award for Media Art for the Stadtwerkstatt-TV projects.
He wrote the consulting and research paper: "New Media and the Impact and Consequences for Art" for the Austrian government.
Thomas Lehner lives and works as an artist and filmmaker in Vienna and Santiago de Cuba.
